Dear friends and supporters,
Thank you for the continued encouragement and generosity you have shown the Agripreneurship Alliance. Your support enables us to work closely with universities, incubators, and young agrifood entrepreneurs across Africa, helping them build stronger, more sustainable, and more resilient businesses. This work is especially important for youth and women, who remain at the heart of Africa’s agrifood future.
Next week marks an important milestone. On 3 December, during the RUFORUM AGM in Botswana, we will officially launch the Entrepreneurship in African Agribusiness (EiAA) online course, a free and practical learning resource designed to support early-stage agrifood entrepreneurs across the continent and strengthen Africa’s pipeline of sustainable, resilient agribusiness leaders.

Looking ahead, our next major goal is to translate the entire EiAA course into French to better support young entrepreneurs, including youth and women, across Francophone Africa — reaching agripreneurs in countries such as Mauritania, where the desert’s advance demands new forms of resilience; Côte d’Ivoire, where young entrepreneurs are expanding into new agrifood opportunities beyond long-established export crops like cacao; and the Democratic Republic of Congo, where entrepreneurs are working to build resilient livelihoods and stable local economies in regions long affected by conflict.
This aligns perfectly with GivingTuesday, running from 2–3 December 2025. During this 36-hour campaign, GlobalGiving is offering $500,000 in matching incentive funds and $16,000 in bonus prizes. Donations up to $2,500 per donor are eligible to receive matching funds, helping us scale the reach of a course designed for Africa’s next generation of agrifood innovators.
We do not expect a large fundraising wave, but this moment provides valuable visibility — and every contribution will help us move closer to making the EiAA course fully bilingual and accessible to even more entrepreneurs across Africa.

Thank you for standing with us as we work to equip the next generation of African agripreneurs — especially the youth and women who will lead a more sustainable and resilient agrifood sector for Africa’s future.
