2018 Activity Review

2018 has been an exciting year for the Agripreneurship Alliance.  In our first year of operation we have created a pilot 'Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness' course that has been completed by 76 students who have created 34 agribusiness plans, working across 5 universities/institutions and 3 countries in East Africa.

We could not have achieved anything without our partners and would like to acknowledge their support and offer our sincere thanks to SIANI, African Management Initiative, Laikipia University, IITA Youth Agri-Hub, Egerton University, Gulu University and the IGAD Sheikh Technical Veterinary Training School.

2019 is going to be a very exciting year.  We will offer a new version of the 'Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness' course to our partners.  This will be firmly embedded in the world of African Agribusiness and will be informed by our own learning and the feedback that we have received from this year's participants and their institutions.

For a young and small organisation we have achieved a great deal in 2018 and we look forward to the challenges that next year will bring.
